I'm considering purchasing a refurbished Dell Optiplex 7050 SFF Desktop PC for around $350, which includes a three-year warranty. The specs are as follows: it has an Intel i7-7700 processor (4 cores, 3.60GHz), 32GB of DDR4 RAM, a 1TB SSD, WiFi, Bluetooth, HDMI, and support for dual monitors, running Windows 11 Pro. Since I'm coming from console gaming and don't have extensive knowledge about PCs, I'd love to hear if this setup is worth it for casual gaming—nothing too demanding, just some lighter games.

This system is definitely lacking, especially because it doesn't have a dedicated GPU. You'd be better off looking for something with at least an 8th gen Intel processor or newer, or a Ryzen chip if you go AMD. Those will give you a much better experience for gaming.
Honestly, you're looking at some pretty outdated hardware here. The i7-7700 is nearly nine years old, which isn't great for gaming, even casual titles. If you can, you might want to save a bit more and do some research into more recent systems that can handle games better.
I appreciate the feedback! I'm not aiming for heavy gaming, just something decent for casual stuff.
Honestly, if you can build a PC yourself, those components are worth less than $200 total these days. This system might run Windows 11, but if you're used to consoles, you're probably better off just sticking with that unless you're willing to invest in better hardware.
I’m mostly looking for lighter games like Minecraft and older titles, but I get what you’re saying.

Thanks for the tips! I’ll keep that in mind for my search.
