Is This Software Actually Malware?

I'm concerned about my PC's security and wondering if specific files like 'eeapi', 'icsharpcode.avalonedit.dll', and 'system.diagnostics.diagnosticsource.dll' might be malware. I'm not very tech-savvy, and I'm frightened that my computer is infected as I keep discovering new threats despite running four scans.

I totally get your fear! This PC holds a lot of memories for me too. Just focus on running those scans and maybe look into some reputable malware removal software if you haven't already.

It's hard to say definitively if those files are malware without more context. I recommend running a scan with Malwarebytes; they offer a free trial that could help you get rid of viruses. It's what I used when I had malware issues, and it worked well for me!

Just be cautious! I had a similar problem, and parental controls made downloading anything tricky. Make sure to check your settings.
