Is This Upgrade to 64GB RAM Worth It with My Current Setup?

I'm considering upgrading my system from 32GB to 64GB of RAM and found this set on Amazon: [link]. My current RAM has timings of CL38-46-46-76, while this new set has CL38-38-38-78. Since both sets have a CL38 timing, I think it should be compatible, but I'm not very familiar with RAM timings and wanted to get some advice before making the purchase. Also, what are the chances of actually running all four sticks at 6000MHz if they match?

It really depends on your CPU. If you're using something like a 9800x3D, you might struggle to get all four sticks running at 6000MHz with those timings. You may have to do some custom tuning, and that's where matching timings might not be as crucial.

I have the same CPU and yeah, I feel like the chances of running that RAM combo perfectly are pretty slim.

I'm mainly looking to boost performance for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, which already pushes my RAM usage close to its limits.

Honestly, there's not many games out there that actually use more than 16GB of RAM. Unless you're doing something really specific, you might not see much benefit from 64GB. Games like Stalker 2 barely use 24GB, so it's probably better to wait until prices drop before upgrading.

I game in 4K on my OLED TV, and even the beefiest games seem to max out around 32GB. Flight Sim also hovers around 29GB for me.
