I came across a used PC in a marketplace featuring an RX 6900 XT XFX graphics card, a Ryzen 7 5800X processor, and 32GB (2x16) of 3600MHz CL18 DDR4 RAM for 9900kr, which is around 1035.19 USD. I'm wondering if I should go for it and if this setup will last me a few years.

Given that you mentioned kroner, I’m guessing you’re in Scandinavia. I’m from Norway, and honestly, this looks like a solid deal! It’d be great to know more about the motherboard, storage, and PSU. But from what you’ve shared, the pricing seems pretty fair here.

The motherboard is an ASUS ROG Strix X570-E Gaming with a Kraken X63 280mm AIO cooler in a Phanteks Eclipse G500A mid tower case. It has a 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD and a Corsair RM750W PSU. Looks good, right?

With RAM prices as they are, this looks like a decent deal these days. Depending on what you’re aiming for, this setup should cover 1080p gaming for 5+ years, but if you’re looking for 1440p at 100fps, it might fall short within a couple of years with newer titles.

If everything else checks out, it should last you a couple of years or more. You might want to try haggling the price down a bit, though!

Honestly, it seems like a decent deal. It’s not mind-blowing, but with RAM prices being what they are, you might struggle to find anything better right now.
