Hey everyone! I'm in a bit of a pickle regarding my current setup. I've got an i7-9700k CPU and a 3060 Ti GPU, but I'm thinking about upgrading to a 5070. My main concern is how much of a bottleneck my CPU would create with this new GPU. I want to make sure I'm still getting a solid performance boost, especially since I'm looking to play newer titles like Battlefield 6 and Borderlands 4. Right now, some games feel sluggish, and I want to know if this upgrade will make a noticeable difference. If I go ahead with this now, will it be a worthwhile upgrade until I can afford a full new system later?

Upgrading from a 3060 Ti to a 5070 will definitely give you a big performance boost, but yes, there could be some bottleneck issues if you're gaming at 1080p with high settings. If you're at 1440p and a higher refresh rate, it should work out nicely! Just be aware that while the 9700k will hold you back a bit, the overall jump in performance should still be significant. Your new power supply should cover it. Good luck with your upgrade!

Thanks for the insight! I'm actually looking at a 1440p setup, so hopefully, it works well for me.
