I've recently upgraded my motherboard and processor to a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, and I primarily game with it. While my current 3080 Ti is holding up fine, I'm worried about the rumors that the 50 series production may halt due to RAM shortages. Initially, I was thinking of waiting for the 60 series, but I'm unsure if that will even be available soon. Given my configuration and the current gaming landscape, do you think it's worth upgrading to a 5080?

I upgraded from a 3080 to a 5080 and I'm pretty happy with the switch. It's all about your budget though. If you can spare $1000 and are looking for a noticeable boost in performance, it's a solid choice especially for 4K gaming. The 5080 really shines at higher resolutions!
Same here! Moved to a 5080 with the same CPU and the performance boost at 4K is pretty significant. I really appreciate the increased CPU usage too during gaming.
