I'm really impressed with the performance of DLSS4, whether it's native or upscaled in various games. The frame generation is significantly better than what I experienced with FSR3, and I've lost trust in AMD after they didn't support RedStone for RDNA3. I'm wondering if the 5060 Ti with 16GB is actually a downgrade from my 7800 XT. If I decide to increase my budget, would the 5070 with 12GB be sufficient, or should I aim for the 5070 Ti with 16GB instead? I just find it frustrating that AMD isn't supporting their previous-gen cards.

Get ready for some sticker shock with Nvidia! I've heard that the 5090 is on the way and could be a beast. But if budget allows, the 5070 Ti is your best bet.
I can totally see your frustration. It seems like Nvidia is just charging more for the same specs. It can feel like a bit of a rip-off!
Honestly, if you can swing it, the 5070 Ti is the only real upgrade from what you have. The standard 5070 might not give you the performance boost you're looking for. But hey, I’m not someone who uses frame generation—what about you?

That's the concern with Nvidia though—do they really support older cards? AMD's lacking in that department if you ask me.
