I'm currently using an AMD 9600X with a 9070XT graphics card, and I mainly play games like Baldur's Gate 3, Escape from Tarkov, and Cyberpunk 2077 at 4K resolution. I purchased my 9600X for 200 euros and now I'm contemplating an upgrade. I can get a 7900X for 305 euros or a 7800X3D for 325 euros. Are these processors worth the upgrade?

Honestly, your current setup should handle most gaming just fine. If you're looking for improvement, the 7800X3D offers more performance than the 7900X, which is more of a side grade with its extra cores but similar speeds.
If you're playing at 4K, the 7800X3D is definitely a solid upgrade, but the price might not justify the gains for you. If cash isn't an issue, go for it! Otherwise, your current CPU isn't bad.
If you're serious about gaming, the 7800X3D or even the 9800X3D are considered top choices right now! They provide amazing performance.
Before deciding, think about what you really want from the upgrade. Are you aiming for smoother frame rates or maybe better performance in certain games?
The 7800X3D can be up to 30% faster than its non-3D counterparts in games. That's a decent performance boost if you're focused on gaming.

I'm mainly looking to improve my 1% lows in Escape from Tarkov.
