I'm considering switching from my trusty Noctua D14 cooler to a 360mm all-in-one (AIO) cooler, most likely the Arctic Liquid Freezer III. My current setup features an R7 9700X on an MSI X870-P motherboard, and I've had the D14 for almost 10 years now. It's still performing well but I've got limited airflow since my PC is tucked inside an IKEA Alex drawer against a wall, leaving only a 4 cm gap for airflow. I'm curious if an AIO upgrade would significantly improve temperatures and noise levels, or if it could end up being less reliable than my current setup and not really make a noticeable difference in real-world performance.

Honestly, unless you're having major issues with temperatures or noise, sticking with your D14 is a smart move. Going to an AIO could introduce more points of failure. A lot of folks switch for aesthetics rather than actual performance gains. Just because everyone else is doing it doesn’t mean it’s the right choice for you! If your system is running fine now, maybe just keep rocking the cooler you have.

Good point! I don't have issues, just thought a cooler might let me push my CPU further.
