Hey everyone! I'm currently running an R5 7600 on an ASUS A620 motherboard with an RTX 4070 Ti Super and 32GB of 6000MHz DDR5 RAM. I've been noticing some potential bottleneck issues while gaming, especially with ARC Raiders where both my CPU and GPU are used about 70-80% at 1440p competitive settings. I'm considering upgrading to an R7 7700X, but I've heard that my motherboard may limit performance gains. What do you think? Should I go for the upgrade?

I don’t think it’s worth the upgrade either. The 7700X is a bit of a sidegrade for your setup. Your current CPU is sufficient for the 4070 Ti Super in most cases. Maybe just ignore the FPS counter and enjoy the game, as it seems you have a solid machine!
I agree, it's better to save for an X3D CPU if you're looking for a performance boost. The A620 motherboard you have is fine for your current setup, but it could limit future upgrades. Just hold off on that 7700X; you’ll get more gains with a higher-tier X3D chip when it becomes available.
Upgrading from the R5 7600 to a 7700X won't do much for you. You'll only see marginal improvements in clock speeds. If you're looking for a worthwhile upgrade for gaming, consider the 7800X3D or 9800X3D. Honestly, your setup is solid for 1440p, so you might be good sticking with what you have. Are you capping your FPS or using G-SYNC? That could be worth checking out!
