Hey folks! I'm considering an upgrade from my RTX 3070 to a 5070 Ti while keeping my Ryzen 7 5800X. I'm primarily interested in the extra VRAM that the 5070 Ti offers. Do you think this upgrade is worthwhile, or might my CPU hold it back? I don't plan to change my CPU since that would mean swapping much more of my setup. By the way, I game on a 1440p monitor, and I can get a 5070 Ti for about $1000 here in my country.

I made the same jump and I'm really happy with it. My 5800X paired with the 5070 Ti feels like a solid setup. You might want to wait for the rumored 5070 Ti Super, which could offer even more VRAM for a similar price, but it's just speculation at this point.
Your Ryzen 7 5800X is still a powerful CPU, so it should pair nicely with the 5070 Ti without any major bottleneck issues. Go for it!
I recently upgraded to the 5070 Ti from a 2070, and the performance boost has been huge! If you're coming from the 3070, you should definitely see some solid gains too.
I run a 5070 Ti with my 5800X and it works great, no overheating or issues at all. You'll be fine!
I moved from a 3070 Ti and upgraded both my CPU and GPU to a 5900X3D and the 5070 Ti, and the improvement in gameplay was dramatic. But honestly, if you're keeping your CPU, you shouldn't notice any downsides with the 5070 Ti.
