Is Upgrading My PC Build Worth It?

I'm looking for some advice on whether I should upgrade my current PC setup or stick with what I have. Here's my current build and what I paid for it about 14 months ago. My current specs include an AMD Ryzen 9 7900X CPU, 64GB of DDR5 RAM, a 2TB NVMe SSD, and an XFX Radeon RX 7800 XT GPU, all totaling approximately $2,315.92 CAD. I use my PC for both gaming and working from home, and I can still play pretty much every game on Ultra settings at 1440p on my 34-inch monitor.

I'm considering a new build that totals about $2,799.93 CAD, which includes a new case, a Radeon RX 9070 XT GPU, a Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU, and various upgrades to RAM and motherboard. However, I feel like I could have done better with my current build components. Should I sell my old PC (hoping to get around $1,500-1,700 CAD) and go for this upgrade, or would it make more sense to just swap out a few components? I'm eager for any thoughts or recommendations you might have!

Honestly, doing a full rebuild might not be the best move right now unless you really need to sell your current setup as a complete unit. Maybe just focus on upgrading the GPU and RAM instead; that should give you a solid performance boost without the hassle of a total rebuild.

What do you think about the current GPU? I've always felt that it might not have been the best choice, but I didn’t look into it much back then.
