I recently built a new PC with a 9070XT and a 7700x processor. Currently, I'm using a 24-inch, 1080p monitor that runs at 144hz. I really enjoy the high refresh rates for gaming, but I've heard that upgrading to a 1440p monitor could be beneficial. I have a budget of around 250-300 euros. My main concern is whether I'll even notice a significant difference in visual quality with my poor eyesight, particularly when moving from 24 to likely a 27-inch display. I'm also quite particular about low input lag since I play a lot of fighting games and would love to hear any monitor recommendations!

Upgrading from 24 to 27 inches with a 1440p resolution definitely makes a big difference! While the pixel density might not change dramatically, the extra screen real estate is great for immersive gaming, especially for the wider field of view you'll get with a bigger screen. Plus, you'll really appreciate how much sharper everything looks at 1440p compared to 1080p!
Absolutely! And if you can, consider OLED – the colors and contrast are on another level!
