Hey everyone! I'm using a Lenovo Legion T530-28ICB PC that's been running fine for about 5 years, but I'm running out of storage space. I currently have a 512GB SK Hynix NVMe SSD, and I've realized I need more space, especially for my gaming. I don't want to build a new PC, just upgrade the storage.
I've been looking into replacing my current SSD but I'm sticking to NVMe since I have one slot and don't want to deal with Hard Drives or SATA SSDs. I'm considering the Kingston NV3 M.2 NVMe Gen 4 2TB SSD because it's affordable and gets good reviews. Am I on the right track, or is there something I should consider before making this purchase?

I get why you’re avoiding SATA SSDs since they’re slower. For gaming, you definitely want something faster, and NVMe is the way to go! The Kingston NV3 you’re looking at should serve you well—2TB is a nice upgrade. Just ensure you check the read/write speeds to match your gaming needs.
Sounds like a solid plan! Just make sure to clone your current SSD to the new one, especially if you want to keep your games and settings intact. You don’t want to have to reinstall everything from scratch!
Great point! I’ll definitely look into cloning software to make that transition smoother.
Also, keep an eye on any reviews about heat management with that SSD. Sometimes they can throttle if they get too hot during heavy use.
