Is Upgrading to a 4K Monitor Worth It for My Gaming Build?

Hey everyone! I recently upgraded my PC with a Ryzen 5 9600x CPU, 64GB of DDR5 6000MHz RAM, and a 5070 Ti GPU. I'm considering switching my monitor from 1440p to a 4K one, but I'm unsure if my setup is powerful enough for 4K gaming in the long run. My concern is that if in a few years I can't consistently hit 60 FPS at 4K, will playing at 1440p on a 4K monitor look bad? Would love some advice from you all! Thanks!

You shouldn't worry too much! With a 5070 Ti, you're likely to maintain over 60 FPS in 4K for several years. I have the same card, and with features like frame generation and DLSS on quality settings, I've been averaging around 61-65 FPS even with demanding games. Plus, when you turn on multi-frame generation, you can push past 120 FPS at 4K ultra with full ray tracing. So, you should be in good shape!
