I'm considering upgrading my old GPU since it seems to have died. I'm thinking about getting a used 3060 Ti for a little over $200. My current setup includes 1080p monitors, and even though I don't game much anymore, I want my PC to be functional for when I do play with friends. Do you think this upgrade is worth it in 2025?

Instead of the 3060 Ti, you might want to look for a 5060 if you’re okay with a little more investment—it's around $270. But if you're sticking to the used market, I’ve seen 6750XTs around the same price that could perform quite well too.
If you are in the US, check for open box deals. Zotac Shop sometimes has a 4060 for $202.99, which includes a 2-year warranty. Also, you can find a 3070 LHR for about $210, but it has one fan and cooling might be an issue. Just some food for thought!
While a 2080 Ti can perform similarly and sometimes go for $150-$200, I'd say you should still consider the 3060 Ti if the price is right. It’s a good middle-ground option without jumping to older tech that might not last as long.
The 3060 Ti is definitely still a solid option, especially for 1080p gaming at 60fps. Just keep in mind that for more demanding games, you might need to lower the settings a bit due to VRAM limitations. Overall, if you can get it used for around $200, it seems like a reasonable deal.
