I recently learned that I'm not fully using the bandwidth I'm paying for because my PC is limited to WiFi 5. A technician suggested I could upgrade to a WiFi 6 card, but I'm worried about whether I can use both my integrated WiFi and a new card at the same time, and if that would cause any signal interference. My motherboard is an ASUS Rog Maximus Hero XI. Can anyone give me advice on this?

Yes, as long as you have a free PCIe 1x slot and it doesn't conflict with your GPU, you should be good to go. Don't forget to disable the old card in the BIOS too!
Definitely, you can upgrade your WiFi card without any issues. Just be sure to disable the built-in WiFi either in the BIOS or through Windows Device Manager after installing the new card. This should work perfectly!
What's your internet speed and current router setup? It helps to know what you're working with.
Getting a WiFi 6 card is a great choice! Just download its drivers, disable the motherboard's WiFi in the BIOS, and you’re all set to go. Make sure you've got the right PCIe slot available.
Currently, I have around 408 Mbps, but I pay for 1 Gbps, and I have a WiFi 6 router. My motherboard supports WiFi 5.
