I'm considering upgrading my PC from an Intel 13700K to an AMD 9800 X3D and swapping my 4070 Ti for a 5080. I mainly play 4K games like Marvel titles, Call of Duty, and Battlefield. Do you think this upgrade is worth it, or would just a GPU change suffice? I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks in advance!

Honestly, upgrading for the sake of a few extra frames might not be worth it. If your main goal is to handle more demanding 4K games, then it could be worth it, but it’s a significant investment for what might be a modest performance increase.
I doubt you’d see much benefit from changing the CPU. The 5080 is reportedly about 46% faster than the 4070 Ti, so that could be a worthwhile upgrade if you're looking for better performance in your games.
If you can afford it, the upgrade might be fine, but generally, it's better to hold onto your money unless you're really chasing that extra performance. You might just want to swap the GPU without upgrading the CPU.
Both upgrades seem questionable for their value. If you’re using your PC for both gaming and productivity, keeping the 13700K makes more sense, especially since performance gains on the X3D chip diminish at higher resolutions. But if you're seeing VRAM issues with 4K settings, maybe consider a GPU swap. The 5080 seems overpriced for the jump you'd get compared to the 5070 Ti or 4080.
I wouldn’t bother upgrading the CPU if you’re already gaming at 4K. The 13700K is solid for most tasks, plus the 9800 X3D doesn't show a huge advantage at that resolution.
