Hey everyone! I'm currently using an RTX 5070 12GB with an i7-13700f and have a DDR4 B660M motherboard with 16GB of RAM. I'm wondering if it's worth upgrading to 32GB of DDR5, or if I should just add another 16GB stick of DDR4. Thanks for your thoughts!

You can't get DDR5 without changing your motherboard, so it might not be worth the hassle. Just adding another 16GB of DDR4 is likely the better option for you.
Honestly, I would stick with DDR4 unless you're looking to fully upgrade your system with a new CPU generation. If you're not experiencing issues with your current 16GB setup, I see no reason to switch.
DDR5 will really shine in the next generation of CPUs, so for now, upgrading might not be necessary. Just add another 16GB of DDR4 if you can.
Upgrading to DDR5 will only give you a modest 5-10% performance boost in CPU-limited games. Considering the extra cost of a new motherboard, I'd suggest just getting a 2x16GB DDR4 kit, preferably at 3200 CL16 or 3600 CL18. It's a safer bet!
If I'm okay with my performance using 16GB of RAM, is upgrading even a good move? I feel like my 5070 should have more RAM but maybe I'm just overthinking it.
