Is Upgrading to Ryzen 5 5500 a Good Move from i5 10400F for Better FPS?

I'm currently using an i5 10400F paired with an RTX 3060 Ti 8GB, and I feel like I'm experiencing a bottleneck since I only get around 100-150 FPS in League of Legends. I'm looking to upgrade without breaking the bank. Would switching to a Ryzen 5 5500 give me better performance? I noticed that some bottleneck calculators rated it at 0%, but I'd love some confirmation from someone with PC knowledge. I know the Ryzen 5 5600X is a better option, but it costs $140 compared to the $80 for the 5500. Plus, I'll need to change motherboards for whichever I choose. Thanks in advance!

How do you know you actually have a bottleneck? Those calculators online aren't really reliable. You might want to test your system more. Spending money just to switch to the Ryzen 5500 might not be the best move. Keep in mind, your CPU and GPU are generally well-matched. If you're looking for performance improvements, you might be better off with other upgrades instead.

From how my PC performs, my buddy has the same card but with a different CPU and gets way more FPS than I do.
