Is Upgrading to the 9800X3D Worth It for My Setup?

I'm currently running a system with an RTX 4080 Super, Ryzen 7600, and 32GB of RAM at 6400MHz, set up across three monitors. I usually have Discord, Twitch, and several browser tabs open while I game on my 4K OLED. Lately, I've noticed my applications can be slow to respond, and I'm wondering if upgrading to a 9800X3D would help improve multitasking performance. Moreover, will it enhance my gaming performance too? I've heard mixed opinions online, particularly that at 4K, the 9800X3D might not be worth the upgrade.

Keep an eye on your CPU and GPU usage while gaming. From what you've explained, a CPU upgrade may offer some performance stability, but the impact on gaming at 4K is often minimal since it’s typically GPU-bound. If you're hoping for a boost in frame rates, the 9800 might help somewhat, but only if you find you're hitting CPU limits, which is rare. You're already running pretty close to maxing out your current CPU while gaming, so it might not be the magic solution you're looking for, especially if your GPU is only at 65% utilization.

Right now, I'm playing at 4K on high settings and see around 60 FPS, with the CPU sitting at 95% usage and the GPU at 65%. Should I just upgrade the GPU first?
