Hey everyone! I just upgraded to a full fibre connection and previously I was using a WiFi extender connected to my PC via an ethernet cable. Now, I'm seeing some weird speeds: I'm getting about 120 Mbps on ethernet, but WiFi gives me around 650 Mbps. I'm curious if WiFi is generally better in this situation, especially for gaming, or if I should stick with the ethernet setup for lower latency and better ping despite the slower speeds. Any thoughts?

It really depends on your previous setup. Usually, WiFi can bottleneck your speeds, so if you can run a cable directly to your PC, that's often the better option. But if your speeds with ethernet are slower than WiFi now, there might be something limiting it.
Make sure there’s no issue with your extender or the cable. Confirm that you have at least a CAT5e or better cable, like CAT6, to achieve the speeds you’re after. Sometimes really old extenders can slow things down too.
