Is Windows 24H2 Safe to Upgrade To?

I've been hearing mixed reviews about Windows 24H2, with some saying it's a disaster and others mentioning that many of the bugs have been fixed. I primarily use my PC for gaming and have an Intel 13900K processor. Should I stick with 23H2 or go ahead and upgrade?

From what I've seen, the feature update itself is mostly fine now, but the Windows updates from earlier this year had their share of issues. We even had to block a couple of KB updates for our clients because of that. May and June should have the majority of the fixes sorted out, though.

You can always uninstall feature updates if they don't work for you. Ignore the noisy complaints online and check for yourself! All my personal and work PCs are on 24H2 and I haven’t faced any troubles.

I wish I could upgrade without my PC crashing every time I try!

I've experienced issues with Twain drivers since upgrading—they just stopped working. We're dealing with over 1200 PCs in medical offices, and we had to revert many back to 23H2, which has been a huge hassle.

I tried installing the update, but it still gives me BSOD errors. It's frustrating!

Is your SSD one that needs a firmware update? That could be the problem.

That might not be the update's fault; it could be corrupted files or system components causing the BSOD. You might need to repair your system first before applying the update.
