I've been using my iPhone 17 for about three weeks after upgrading from the 11. I've done all the necessary data transfers, but I've noticed it heats up and the battery drains quickly even when it's idle. The only thing connected is my AirPods for music, and I'm not using GPS or other features. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

You might want to try force restarting your iPhone to see if that helps stabilize it. Sometimes a normal restart isn't enough to resolve background processes that could be causing overheating.

I did a normal restart; is there a difference with a force restart?
