Hi everyone! I'm a long-time Windows user, and I've recently dual-booted my computer for better performance. I decided to try out Zorin OS based on a friend's recommendation. However, I've seen some negative tier list rankings and I'm starting to question my choice. I'm not a power user; I mainly use Linux for gaming and to build some basic skills. Should I have picked something like Pop OS!, CachyOS, or Ubuntu instead? Or is Zorin a solid choice for someone like me? Just to note, I'm using a Razer Blade 15 2018 with a GTX1060.

Zorin is actually a pretty well-polished and functional distro. If you’re finding it works well for you, then you’ve done just fine! Don’t stress over tier lists from YouTubers; the Linux community can be quite divided over their favorites.
If it’s working for you, don’t trip about changing it! Many distros have similar features since they’re often forks of each other, so if Zorin is doing the job, you’re set.
There’s really no one-size-fits-all with distros; most will get the job done with slight differences. I have a Razer Blade as well, and I currently run Pop OS! on it for browsing, coding, and gaming. But if Zorin is working for you, stick with it!

What kind of temperatures do you get on your CPU and GPU while gaming? I'm a bit worried about mine spiking to 95°C occasionally!
