I recently tried to reformat my Xbox hard drive to use it as a standard storage device, but I'm running into problems. My laptop isn't recognizing the drive properly. I played around with the Computer Management settings and used some command line tricks to partition it and create a new volume, ultimately formatting it to NTFS. However, now the option to open the drive is grayed out, and File Explorer doesn't seem to detect it at all. Does anyone have any solutions?

Hey! Can you share some screenshots of your partition manager? It's important to check if the drive actually has a letter assigned to it. That can sometimes be the issue. Let’s see what you’ve got!

I just took a look and confirmed that it does have a drive letter assigned. Here’s the link to the screenshot!
