Issues After Cleaning Intel Graphics Driver Installation

I recently updated the Intel Arc graphics driver on my Lenovo Ideapad using the Intel Driver & Support Assistant. During the installation, I checked the "CLEAN INSTALLATION" option thinking it would keep my system free of junk, but it seems to have caused more problems than it solved. Now, my screen randomly zooms in and out, I'm getting a ton of updates in Windows, the performance has significantly dropped, and I'm seeing a message about removing the legacy user interface in the Intel Graphics Command Center. Plus, I've encountered a 'hard error' when waking my laptop from sleep, and my system restore was disabled. I'm at my wit's end trying to fix this. Does anyone have advice on how to completely resolve these issues?

If you're unsure about using DDU, just remember to follow the instructions carefully. It can seem overwhelming, but it's pretty straightforward if you take it step by step. Just let me know if you need a more detailed guide on the process!

I’d suggest using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to remove all your Intel drivers. Boot into safe mode, run DDU, and wipe everything clean. After that, install the second newest driver version, as the latest one might have bugs that are causing your issues.
