Hey everyone, I'm new to Linux and I've been trying to get Linux Mint up and running for the past few days. I initially got to a 'temporary space' for finishing the installation, but I ran into problems because Microsoft encryption blocked me from completing it. After decrypting everything in Windows, I haven't been able to boot Mint at all. Now, every time I try to start it, I get a bunch of error messages like 'failed to open EFIBOOTmmx64.efi - not found' and 'Failed to start mokmanager: not found.' I've tried using a different USB stick and reinstalling the distro, but nothing seems to help. Any suggestions? Just a heads up, I'm using a Lenovo Yoga 7. P.S. I figured it out! I just had to rename grubx64.efi to mmx64.efi on the USB.

You might want to check the migration tips on forums too. Just make sure to verify your ISO checksums before you install anything to avoid further issues!
You're not alone; this seems to be a common issue with Mint and Ubuntu-based distros. There are plenty of solutions posted online. Have you checked those out?
How did you install Linux Mint? Sometimes installation issues can stem from how the OS is set up on the USB. Just checking!
I used the official Linux Mint website to get the file and then loaded it onto my USB with Balena Etcher.
Have you tried disabling Secure Boot in your BIOS? Sometimes that can cause boot issues. Also, double-check that you are installing Linux and not just running the live version.

Thanks for the tip! I did find some relevant info and it helped.
