I'm having trouble accessing my student account which uses Google Authenticator for two-factor authentication. Whenever I try to log in, it tells me, "You didn't enter the expected verification code." I've attempted to toggle the "Set time automatically" option on my phone but it hasn't resolved the issue. Interestingly, my date and time were manually set before without any problems. I only switched to automatic time yesterday, and that seems to be when the issue started.

It sounds like your problem might be related to the time settings since it started after you switched to automatic. The Google Authenticator app generates codes that rely on your device's clock being spot on. If there’s even a slight time drift, it can cause the verification failures you’re experiencing.
Try going into the Authenticator app, tapping the three dots, going to Settings, and selecting Time correction for codes. Hit Sync now. Just ensure that your time zone is set correctly, and it should help. Keeping "Set time automatically" turned on is good too, but double-checking that your phone isn’t stuck in a 12-hour vs 24-hour format mismatch could also be worth it. Most of the time, a quick sync does the trick!
