I'm having a bit of trouble with my newly purchased Kingston Fury 2x16GB 3600MHz RAM. I enabled D.O.C.P in the BIOS, but after booting into Windows and gaming, my system crashed and I ended up with a black screen. I even tried using it on my Ryzen 5 3600, but faced Windows corruption. I had to reinstall Windows completely. The error messages I received were MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION (0x9C), WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (0x124), and IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (0xA). The failed component was ntoskrnl.exe. My specs are: Ryzen 5 5600G, 2 x 16GB KF436C18BB/16-SP 3600MHz, TUF B450m Pro, RX 6600, and NZXT C650. The BIOS reports the profile as D.O.C.P DDR4-3597 22-22-22-52-1.35V. Are my timings just off?

You’re definitely on the right track! The D.O.C.P profile is more of a suggestion, and sometimes it doesn’t work perfectly with every setup. Start by dialing down the speed a bit, and maybe adjust the timings and voltage to see if it helps stabilize your system.

Don’t worry, your issue is pretty common with overclocking. The D.O.C.P profile might need to be tweaked. You might want to consider looser timings and potentially increasing your voltage. It’s not necessarily about the CPU; it’s more about how you’re configuring the RAM.
