I just built a brand new PC and got an open box 5070 TI ProArt from Microcenter. Everything else in the build is brand new and sealed. However, I'm seeing a ton of errors in HWInfo, specifically:
- PCI Express errors: 9,461
- Receive errors: 9,461
- LCRC error count: 1
- Bad DLLP count: 2
- Recovery count: 108
- PCIe lane 12 errors: 255
The strange part is that even with all these errors, gaming seems to be running fine. I've tried quite a bit of troubleshooting, such as adjusting power settings, changing BIOS settings, enabling/forcing PCIe Gen 4 and 5, and I'm still getting errors while the system is idle. I've reseated the GPU and checked all the cables as well. My motherboard is an MSI Pro X870E P WIFI with a 9850X3D CPU and 32GB of DDR5 6000MHz RAM. Should I consider returning the GPU?

Have you tried using DDU to completely uninstall and reinstall the NVIDIA drivers? It could help clear up these errors if they're software-related. It does seem like there might be something hardware linked, but it's worth a shot!
Sounds like your GPU is acting up! It's like the computer version of caught hacking nfts, haha. I wouldn't rule out a return if it keeps showing those kinds of errors, especially with it being an open box.

Thanks for the tip! It seems like a hardware issue, but I'll give that a try just in case.
