I recently got a new Asus GPU, and I'm noticing that there's a bright red LED light on it when my computer is either off or in sleep mode. It only goes off when the computer is fully running. I've read that one way to keep the light from staying on during sleep is to use a 12vhpwr cable from CableMod that connects directly from the PSU to the GPU. Some folks suggested enabling EpR in the BIOS, but that only works when the computer is off, not for sleep mode. The problem is, I can't find my PSU brand listed on the CableMod site. How can I determine which cable would be compatible? By the way, here's the link to my PSU: [my PSU](https://www.amazon.com/Redragon-PSU006-Certified-Japanese-Capacitors/dp/B0BCPYMJZ8?th=1).

That red LED usually indicates a potential power issue. It might be caused by the power adapter or connector you're using. If possible, consider getting a PSU that has a native 12vhpwr connector; this could solve the issue altogether without complications. Switching to a new PSU isn't ideal, but it’s something to think about if the problem persists.
You might want to reach out to Asus support directly. They can give you the best advice on how to deal with that red light issue. Some users mentioned in their manuals that it’s normal for the light to stay on when using certain setups, even when in sleep mode.
That sounds like solid advice. It could help to check with them for any guidelines specific to your GPU model.
I hear you, but I wouldn’t drop cash on a new PSU just for one GPU. If you can, maybe see if you can return the GPU and stick with the 2070 Super.
