I recently bought a PC from a friend, but I'm facing difficulties installing Windows. Right now, I'm attempting to update the BIOS. After downloading the update, the system restarted, but it's stuck on a screen prompting me to press F2 or Delete, and neither key seems to work. I've heard that using a wireless keyboard might cause issues, and unfortunately, that's the only one I have access to at the moment. Before the update, it would just notify me about a CPU fan error and allow me to press F1 for setup. Is there any way to access the settings without a functioning keyboard, or is it safe for me to just power down the system now that it has restarted? Also, my motherboard is a Rog Strix, and I noticed my hard drive isn't being detected, which I hoped the BIOS update would fix.

Have you tried borrowing a wired USB keyboard from someone? They’re usually pretty inexpensive if you find one at a store. It could make troubleshooting easier, especially with those key presses not working right now. If you can’t find one, powering down is probably your best bet for the moment.

It’s tough when timing is off like that! If you have a wired mouse and a number pad, you might be limited, but there might be some key combinations to access the settings through that.
