I recently upgraded to an RTX 5070ti, and the left monitor keeps going black for a second or two intermittently. Windows Explorer restarts during these blackouts, and it's driving me crazy! Is this a common problem, and is there a way to fix it before I consider returning the card? This issue started after moving from my old RTX 2070. I've tried a clean install with DDU and swapped cable configurations, but it doesn't seem to help. My left monitor is now using HDMI, and even when I moved the setup around, the issue just shifted to the right monitor instead.

You might want to try installing a specific driver, like version 566.36. Some users had success with that one.
It sounds frustrating! Have you tried switching the connections around? If you're on DisplayPort, maybe try HDMI instead, or vice versa. Also, when you reinstall the drivers, make sure you're using DDU for a clean removal.
I swapped them around, but the black screen still happens, no matter which cables or ports I use. It always affects the left monitor first.
Did you do a DDU cleaning before putting in the new GPU? It might help clear out any remnants from the previous card that could be causing conflicts.
I haven't tried that yet, but I will! Thanks for the tip.
Just did it? Unfortunately, it didn't resolve the issue for me.
I just installed that driver, but the problem persists.
