I've just built a new PC and transferred my SSD over, but now I'm stuck at the Microsoft profile setup, needing to create a PIN. Unfortunately, my motherboard doesn't have any network drivers, so neither ethernet nor wifi works—even with hotspot tethering! Plus, Windows 11 has disabled the guest account by default, leaving me completely locked out. Microsoft suggests downloading the driver onto a flash drive and installing it from my PC, but I can't even access my PC to do that. I'm overwhelmed and not sure what to try next. Why can't motherboards just have the network drivers pre-installed? Any suggestions?

A good workaround would be to borrow your SSD and temporarily install it in another PC—like your brother's—where you can install the necessary network drivers for your new motherboard. Once you’ve got the drivers set up, just transfer the SSD back to your new build and you should be good to go!
I don't have my old PC anymore though. Would my brother's PC work just as well for that?
