I've just built a gaming PC with a Ryzen 7 7700 and a 7800 XT, and now I'm in the market for a 1440p monitor. Ideally, I want something with at least 240Hz refresh rate, but I'd prefer it to be closer to 360Hz if possible. My budget is under $600, and I'm looking for something around 30 inches in size. Any suggestions?

If you're open to spending up to $600, go for an OLED monitor. It's hands-down better for gaming than any other panel type. If you decide against that, you can still find a decent 1440p monitor for around $200. By the way, check out rtings.com for solid monitor recommendations!
Honestly, the difference between 240Hz and 360Hz is pretty negligible for most gamers. If you're considering that price range, I recommend you throw in an extra $100-$200 to get an OLED monitor. It will make a significant difference in picture quality! I recently built a similar setup and got a nice monitor that I’m happy with, but I did notice some dimness at the edges due to the IPS panel. Also, here’s a video that explains the whole 240Hz vs 360Hz thing pretty well: [Watch here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=np--4AZxUBg).
I think I’m going to adjust my budget too; I want to keep it under $500 now.
Thanks for the video recommendation! I didn’t know the difference was so minimal. I'll definitely look into OLEDs!
