Hey everyone! I'm in search of a 240Hz, 1440p gaming monitor for my prebuilt PC that I got for my birthday about six years ago. It has an RTX 3070, but I don't remember all the specs. I mainly use this rig for work and gaming, leaning heavily into FPS games like Valorant and CSGO. I've reached a decent rank in both games with my current 24-inch monitor, which only runs at 60Hz. I've heard a lot about how that low refresh rate might be holding me back, and I'm curious if that's true.
I'm looking to upgrade within a budget of around $300 and prefer a screen size between 24 and 27 inches. I don't need high-end features; I just want something that performs well without getting too fancy. So, two questions: is 60Hz really that limiting?
