I've been having some major frustrations with Linux Mint lately. It's turning into a troubleshooting nightmare for me, especially with getting older games (that require 2GB or less of RAM) to run, and I'm also dealing with issues using my headphones. I'm curious if anyone has suggestions for a better alternative distro that might help with these problems?

No distro is perfect! You're probably going to run into issues no matter what you choose. If you're trying to run older games on a less common OS, it can get tricky finding solutions. Just keep that in mind when exploring alternatives.
You might want to check out Zorin. It's known for being user-friendly and has some Wine tools pre-installed to support Windows applications, which could help with your gaming issues.
Zorin does seem like a solid choice for newcomers! It’s worth a try if you need compatibility with older games.
