Looking for a Budget Laptop That Can Handle School and Work

I'm in need of a new laptop that can handle multitasking without any hiccups. I primarily want to use it for school and work-related tasks such as Zoom, Canva, and Microsoft Office. It should be able to manage several tabs and programs running at the same time without slowing down. A long battery life is crucial, as I want something that can last for hours without needing to be plugged in. I also need plenty of storage for files and design work. My budget is limited to $250, so I'm hoping to find something effective within that price range. I'm not particular about the brand as long as it meets my performance and battery requirements.

You're probably not going to find a new laptop for $250 that meets all your needs. Most Chromebooks are cheaper and can handle multiple tabs well, but they don’t have much local storage. If you're able to bump your budget a bit, you might want to look at the Dell Inspiron 15; it offers more storage and versatility, but it could struggle with too many open tabs at once.

I might be okay with sacrificing some storage. Do Chromebooks perform well for multitasking?
