I'm dealing with a crosstalk issue on my motherboard's sound card, which means all the audio coming through my headphone jack is also being picked up by my microphone. It's making it really hard to use voice chat while gaming. I'm looking for a cheap external USB sound card that ideally has at least a microphone port—though a headphone port would be nice too. I have a Gigabyte B650M WiFi motherboard and I'm currently using a headset with a splitter. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

It could be helpful to record some audio while playing music with nothing plugged in to the ports. That way, you can check if the crosstalk is definitely coming from the motherboard or if there's something else going on. It may not be inside the ports at all!
Before you shell out cash for a USB sound card, have you tried troubleshooting the issue? Make sure you let us know your motherboard model and what operating system you're running. We might be able to pinpoint the problem without spending money.
