I'm thinking about getting a new computer but I'm not sure what I really need. I don't play the latest 3D games because I can't keep up with them. I'm more interested in playing nostalgic 2D games. Can anyone recommend what specifications I should look for to play these older games and maybe where I can find them?

If you're looking to play classic 2D games, a Raspberry Pi 5 with emulators is a great option. It's compact and has enough power to run games up to PS2 and Dreamcast. Plus, there are lots of tutorials online to help you set it up!
You might want to check out emulators. They're perfect for running old games on your new setup! Just make sure your computer's specs align with the emulator requirements.
What kind of specs do I specifically need for emulators?

Sounds like a fun project! I'm definitely considering that.
