I'm in the process of building my first PC and have most of the parts lined up, but I'm unsure about selecting a cooler for my AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D. I've heard various suggestions, but I'm looking for clearer guidance. Also, if I'm missing anything else in my setup, I'd love to get that feedback too! Here are my current parts: [link to PCPartPicker list]. Also, I still need some advice on choosing a case!

The Thermalright Phantom Spirit is a popular choice, and it works well with the 7800X3D. If you're into aesthetics, the Royal Knight has an offset design for better RAM visibility, which could be a nice touch if you care about that kind of look.
For the 7800X3D, you really don't need an oversized cooler. A single tower cooler should be sufficient, like the Thermalright Burst Assassin. However, if you're not space-constrained, consider upgrading to something like the Thermalright Peerless Assassin or Phantom Spirit—which you can often find at a good price!

Thanks for the tip! I'm actually eyeing the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 140, which isn't too pricey and seems to fit my needs.
