I'm trying to find a way to keep track of my dad's car keys. He has two cars and lets me use one occasionally, but he hides the key in different places around his room. Last time, I found it in a shoe, but now it's somewhere else, and I have no clue where. I'm hoping for a type of tracker that I can attach to the key that will discreetly ping or make a sound—similar to AirPods—so I can locate it. I've thought about using AirTags or Tile, but they might stand out too much since there are already several silver keys on the keyring. Ideally, I need something that won't attract attention since my dad is quite perceptive. Anyone have suggestions for an inconspicuous car key tracker?

You might want to check out key finders like the Tile Slim. It's pretty thin, so it shouldn't draw attention on the keyring. Plus, you can use your phone to make it ring when you’re close by. Just consider how often your dad might actually notice, since you mentioned he’s pretty sharp!
Have you looked into the KeyRinger? It's designed to be pretty discreet and doesn’t look like a typical tracker at all. It could blend in with his existing keys without raising suspicion. Just make sure to test it out a bit to see how well it works before you rely on it.
I’d recommend the Cube Key Finder. It’s small and can also be attached without standing out too much. Just keep it far from places where your dad normally hides the keys to avoid detection!
