I'm on the hunt for a reliable and preferably free or open-source tool for managing IP addresses. Right now, our team is juggling a couple of outdated Excel spreadsheets, and honestly, they're not cutting it in terms of accuracy. Any suggestions?

Netbox is highly regarded, but remember that IPAM can be generally straightforward. It really depends on your specific needs for a CMDB since everyone's setup is different.

I've been using phpIPAM, and it does the job well for me. Might be worth a look!

Have you checked out Netbox for IP address management? It's a solid option that many in the community seem to favor!

Doesn’t your DHCP service manage all of that info? Just make sure you add your static IPs and reservations. That could save you some hassle!

Honestly, if you just need to track basic stuff like hostnames and IPs, Google Sheets might be your best friend. It's quick and easy to use, especially if your needs are pretty basic. At work, we use Infoblox for our more complex setup, but it's definitely on the pricier side!
