Looking for a Great GPU for 1080p Gaming at 180Hz

I'm building a new PC and have picked out some components: an MSI B550M PRO-VDH Wifi motherboard, a Ryzen 7 5700X processor, and an M.2 SSD. I've got four 8GB RAM sticks ready to go, but I'm planning to use my existing case, which is a little tight on space for big GPUs.

That leaves me needing a power supply and a GPU. While I was considering the 3070 Ti, it's quite power-hungry and runs hot, plus I haven't sorted my cooling yet, so I'm hesitant to go that route. What other GPUs would be suitable for my setup?

For reference, here are some local GPU prices in euros:
- RTX 3060 12GB - €210
- RTX 3060 Ti 8GB - €220
- RTX 3070 8GB - €240
- RTX 3070 Ti 8GB - €260
- RTX 3080 10GB - €330
- RTX 4060 8GB - €280
- RTX 4060 Ti 8GB - €420
- RX 6700XT 12GB - €240
- RX 6800 16GB - €300
- RX 6900XT 8GB - €330
- RX 6900XT 16GB - €420
- Intel Arc B570 10GB - €220
- Intel Arc B580 12GB - €270

Given the pricing, the RX 6900XT is an exciting choice. Although the 5700X is slightly older, it shouldn't bottleneck too much unless you're playing extremely demanding games. The RX 6700 also makes for a solid alternative if you're looking for something a bit less expensive.

The RTX 3080 is the champ here! It outperforms the RX 6900XT in most scenarios and does so at a lower price point. Just keep in mind, it does require around 320 watts which might be a concern for your setup's cooling.

What games are you planning to play? If it's FPS like Valorant, the 6650XT can push that 180Hz mark easily, but it struggles with heavier titles like COD or Red Dead Redemption 2.

Honestly, just evaluate what games you are into. If you're into fast-paced FPS games, a 3060 Ti would suffice, but for AAA titles or higher resolutions, the RX 6900XT shines bright. Also, is 16GB of VRAM necessary for 1080p gaming? More often than not, it's overkill.
