Hey everyone! I'm trying to completely quit gaming and was wondering if there's a Linux distribution that would help me by preventing any games from being installed. I've searched around but couldn't find anything. Any advice or recommendations? Thanks!

Hey, if you happen to have an Nvidia GPU, try using the open-source Nouveau drivers instead of the proprietary ones. That could make gaming pretty difficult! Just a thought!
Most operating systems, including Linux distros, don't really prevent users from installing software, including games. The ability to play games can exist if you have access to install your own programs or use a browser. So, it might not be the best solution you're hoping for.
If you really want to stick to a no-gaming environment, your best bet would be a minimal distro like Antix or Bunsenlabs. They don't come packed with many pre-installed applications, making it harder to install games.
I hear that PCLinuxOS can be a bit inconvenient for gaming, as well as KaOS, which is 64-bit only. It might be worth checking them out if you want fewer options for gaming.
Unfortunately, I haven't found a specific distro that can stop game installations. Relying on your own willpower might just be the way to go for now!
