Hey everyone! I recently switched to Linux Mint and I'm really enjoying it. Now, I want to install a Linux OS on my parents' PC since it's been lagging and running slow. I'm looking for a Linux distribution that has a GUI similar to Windows 10 or 11, so my parents can transition smoothly. Any recommendations would be awesome!

You could customize any distro with KDE Plasma to look like Windows. If you like Mint, you might want to try Kubuntu!

Why not let your parents play around with the Linux Mint you have? They might surprise you with how quickly they catch on!

If they need something super user-friendly, consider Anduin OS too. It's designed to resemble Windows closely, but just a heads-up, it's a one-man project, so keep that in mind.

Zorin OS is highly recommended! It has a look that's quite similar to Win10/11 and is based on Ubuntu, just like Mint. Should be perfect for your parents' needs.

Zorin OS Core has a built-in appearance that mimics Windows quite well. I set it up at a small museum and everyone found it really easy to use. It's stable since it's built on an Ubuntu LTS base.
