I'm currently using a MacBook M4 to code, and my main display is an MSIG27C7 monitor. However, the 1080p resolution just isn't cutting it for me anymore. I have a budget of $700 and I'm looking for suggestions on a better monitor that would improve my coding experience.

Any 2K or 4K monitors with at least 60Hz refresh rate will work well for coding. You can find some affordable options out there that won't break the bank!

The Dell U2415 is a solid choice! It's a great monitor that should meet all your coding needs without any issues.

Just a heads up, if you go for a 4K monitor that's not Apple-branded, keep in mind that MacOS can struggle with scaling. I've had trouble with a 5K2K ultra-wide, but it worked perfectly on Windows. So make sure to check compatibility first!

Thanks for the tip! I was looking at the BenQ MA270U, which claims to be Mac-compatible. What do you think?
