Looking for a Quiet Mechanical Keyboard for Work

I'm in search of a wireless keyboard that I can use at the office. Currently, I'm working with a Logitech MX650, but I'm not a huge fan because it feels pretty cheap. I'm considering switching to a mechanical keyboard, but I'm concerned about noise since I'll be doing automation and programming, and my office has two other people. Sometimes, my keyboard is audible in our call recordings, which is not ideal. I've checked out brands like Aula, Keychron, and Cherry, but all the YouTube reviews are focused on the sound quality of the keys, which doesn't help with my decision-making. I also want a keyboard that allows me to customize the keys later on. What recommendations do you have? I'd like to avoid trial and error with returns since I can be forgetful about that.

If you're leaning towards a mechanical keyboard, a good idea is to test out different switch types first. You can grab a Cherry Switch Tester on the cheap to help you decide on the feel and sound that works for you before making a purchase. Personally, I'm using a MonsGeek M1 that I built at a beginner's keyboard event, and I’m planning to move towards a split design eventually for comfort.

I saw Keychron made a switch tester too! I might get the Cherry one just to see what's best for me.
