Hey everyone! I'm in the market for a UPS that can handle 1000 or 1500 VA with voltage regulation and USB connectivity to send a shutdown signal to a Windows server, like PowerChute. The catch is that my computer setup is in my lounge, and I want to keep the noise to a minimum. I checked out some ABB and ATP models, but they list noise levels under 45dB, which feels way too loud considering the other devices I've got running. Any suggestions for a quieter UPS?

What models are you considering? Devices rated under 45dB usually indicate they're fanless. Are you looking for voltage regulation for a specific purpose?
I heard that some APC models can have issues with their fans, so it’s worth checking out reviews on that. If noise isn't an issue during power outages, but you want quiet operation otherwise, you might want to look into fanless options. Some users have reported success with those in terms of noise.
